No matter how old you are, it’s safe to say that you’ve heard about the story of Cinderella at least once in your life. We’ve already had a lot of movies, animations, storybooks, and other forms of media about the poor orphan, and how she manages to make the prince fall in love with her against all the odds. Now there’s one more movie about the same story coming from the Pitch Perfect producer and writer, Kay Cannon, but this time as a live-action musical comedy drama.

Well, by now everyone knows the basic story but considering that the 2021 version is going to be a musical romantic comedy film, we might see some small changes here and there. For the very little percentage of our readers who are not familiar with the character and her tale, Cinderella is the name of a poor orphan being raised in a family with an abusive stepmother. But destiny has some surprises for her, as she gets to meet up with the prince of the city and eventually make him fall in love with her.

The most famous face of the movie is Camila Cabello, no doubt. As you may know, she’s a very successful singer and songwriter. Considering that the new movie is going to be a musical film, choosing Cabello seems like the perfect choice to play Cinderella.

The Remake of this famous tale as a live-action film has made a lot of people excited. For the many adults who have seen the cartoons before, seeing a modern version of the same tale is an opportunity to revisit the old memories. Unfortunately, though, there is no trailers released for the 2021 musical comedy drama as of now.

Considering that the movie releases early next year, we’ll probably get the first official trailer soon.

Cinderella (2021) Release Date – When Will the Film Hit Theaters?

The existence of the movie was revealed back in April 2019 and the principal photography began in early 2020. Later on, the filming was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and eventually finished in September this year.

The film will officially be released early next year on February 5, 2021.

Cinderella (2021) Movie Rental Information – Where to Rent the Movie?

We’ll probably see Sony Pictures publishing the film on the popular subscription and rental services such as Google Play Video and iTunes after the theatrical release but for now, there’s no official information regarding the subject.
